Estee Lauder Companies is being sued by the beauty tech startup Nomi Beauty, claiming the cosmetics giant has effectively put it out of business by stealing technology to boost sales to jet-setting travelers in hotels.

Unilever Ventures has invested in indie beauty brands Secret Alchemist and SkinInspired. Both brands are based in India and are growing in popularity in the region. 

Sephora and CJ Olive Young, a Korean beauty and health retailer, announced a new strategic partnership to bring Korean beauty to Sephora consumers around the world.
